‘Donald Trump Could RETURN to Social Media as Facebook Ordered to Review Suspension’

The Oversight Board charged with reviewing Facebook’s decision to suspend Donald Trump’s has found that, while the ban was justified, its indefinite nature was not.

The former president was suspended from Facebook and its sister platform Instagram in January for posting inflammatory content about the baseless claims of electoral fraud, which was deemed to have incited the Capitol riots.

However, the board said that while Trump had violated the Facebook’s community standards, a permanent ban from the platform is not provided for in the company’s policies.
