Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) has shown her concern about the significant increase of COVID cases and considers it proper and necessary that the possible future government partners, SPD, FDP, and Greens, keep several COVID protection measures, as government spokesperson Steffen Seibert said during a press conference in Berlin on Wednesday.
