Germany: Munich rally takes aim at COVID vaccination for children

Hundreds gathered on Theresienwiese grounds of Munich on Sunday to question COVID vaccinations for children in Germany.

Police officers monitored the rally and asked protesters to observe mask-wearing rules.

The rally was organised by the ‘Children’s and youth rights - now’ association which advises against COVID-19 vaccinations in children.

The Standing Committee on Vaccination at the Robert Koch Institute, or STIKO has recommended vaccination for children and adolescents from the age of 12 in Germany.

According to the data compiled by Robert Koch Institute, 117,484 have died with coronavirus in Germany since the beginning of the pandemic.
