Greece: Clashes after protests between different political factions at Thessaloniki school

Riots broke out in Thessaloniki on Wednesday as left-wing students held a rally at a school when they were attacked by a group of suspected opponents from the opposite side of the political specturm.

The students were alleged to have been hit by stones and Molotov cocktails, leading to dozens of students and teachers being trapped inside the school.

According to local reporters, five students were arrested and two were injured in the clashes.
