Iran: Ballistic, cruise missiles test-launched in drills in southwest of country

Iranian defence forces launched 17 ballistic missile test attacks on the second day of the five-day ‘Payambar-e Azam 17’ drills in the southwest of Iran near the Persian Gulf on Tuesday.
Advanced ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as assault drones, were tested during what was defined as the ‘major’ drills by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
The military exercise comes two days after the negotiations to revive Iran’s nuclear deal ended without an agreement.
