Iran: Protesters condemn Taliban takeover in Afghanistan outside UN building in Tehran

Demonstrators held signs calling for an end to the killing of Afghan citizens, as well as urging for sanctions to be levied on neighbouring Pakistan, which they accuse of helping the group.
Earlier on Sunday, it had been announced that Taliban forces were at the outskirts of Kabul, after seizing almost all of Afghanistan within a week.
The recent Taliban offensive follows the US and other NATO forces’ ongoing withdrawal from the country.
