Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett gave an interview at the international airport of Tel Aviv before boarding his flight to the Kingdom of Bahrain on his first official visit to Manama on Monday.
“I am going to meet the King, I am going to meet the Crown Prince, and I will have a series of meetings [with the goal] to fill the peace agreements between the two nations with energy and content,” said Bennett at the tarmac of the Ben-Gurion airport.
Israel and Bahrain established diplomatic relations in September 2020. Bennett’s two-day visit to the island nation comes amid rising tensions between Iran, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia.
