‘Johnson to Press Biden to DELAY Afghanistan Withdrawal’

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to press Joe Biden to keep US troops in Afghanistan beyond the 31 August deadline.

It follows chaotic scenes at Kabul airport as people try to flee the country.

Evacuation flights have been arriving in the UK over recent days.

Johnson will reportedly use an emergency meeting of G7 leaders on Tuesday to make the request Biden said discussions are taking place about a possible extension but “our hope is we will not have to.”
