Russia’s Soyuz 2.1a rocket blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome carrying the Progress 79 cargo spacecraft to deliver supplies to the International Space Station (ISS), on Thursday, October 28.
The Progress 79 was loaded with almost three tonnes of cargo, including food, water, fuel and supplies for the station’s crew.
