Green Party chancellor candidate Annalena Baerbock and federal chairman of the Green party Robert Habeck hold their last campaign rally in Dusseldorf on Friday, September 24.

According to polls of voter intentions, the Greens are currently at 15 percent, behind the Social Democratic Party, with 25 percent, and the Union bloc, with 22 percent of projected votes. With a multi-party coalition needed to form a majority government after the elections, the Greens are almost certain to form part of any new administration.
