Several Italian labour unions and anti-fascist groups gather in Rome on Saturday, October 16, to denounce a protest led by what appeared to be the far-right party Forza Nuova against restrictions imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19, which took place last Saturday, October 9.

Participants at that protest clashed with police, committed acts of vandalism, and stormed into the headquarters of the Italian General Confederation of Labour​ (CGIL). ​
