Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky convenes an urgent meeting of the National Security and Defense Council in Kiev on Monday, February 21.

The meeting is being called following Russian President Vladimir Putin met with his Security Council to deliberate on whether to recognise the two self-declared breakaway republics of Donetsk and Lugansk in Ukraine’s Donbass region earlier in the day.
