Mexico: Second migrant caravan leaves Tapachula for the US

A new migrant caravan departed Tapachula, on Thursday, for Mexico’s northern border in an attempt to reach US soil.

The contingent of more than 2,000 Central American migrants, including families with children, is led by human rights activists.

The previous migrant caravan departed on October 23 and is currently travelling through Veracruz.​
