Norway: PM Solberg gives statement on "horrifying" Kongsberg attack

Outgoing Prime Minister Erna Solberg gave a statement in Oslo on Wednesday night after a man armed with a bow and arrow killed at least five people and injured several others in Kongsberg, 70 km from the Norwegian capital.
In her statement, Solberg said that “the reports coming from Kongsberg tonight are horrifying.”
“I understand that many people are afraid, but it’s important to emphasise that the police are now in control,” she added.
Norway’s Justice Minister Monica Maeland was also present and said that her ministry was closely monitoring the situation after receiving updates on the attack.
