Pakistan: Thousands attend state funeral of nation's "father of nuclear bomb"

Locals can be seen following the vehicle that carried the scientist’s coffin all the way to the grave. Prime Minister Imran Khan said Dr Khan provided “security against an aggressive much larger nuclear neighbour,” adding that “for the people of Pakistan he was a national icon.”
Khan died with lung problems after being hospitalised in August with COVID-19.
