Philippines: Minors and seniors receive vaccine boosters at Manila Zoo, along with free admission

Manila Zoo has been refurbished as a vaccination center for seniors and minors, who after receiving doses can enjoy a free visit as seen on Friday.

Visitors were seen receiving their vaccinations while ostriches and peacocks walked nearby, as a result of the initiative from Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, who announced those age groups can receive the latest doses and enjoy a stroll in the zoo for free.

So far, over 6,000 citizens have registered online to get the additional COVID-19 jabs at the renovated Manila Zoo.

I, for one, did not expect to become positive but my symptoms were only cough, runny nose and sore throat. My X-ray was normal because I am fully vaccinated with booster.”
