Poland: Pro-Ukrainian protesters don national flags in Warsaw amid tensions

Nearly 200 protesters wrapped in national flags rallied in Warsaw on Sunday to show support for Ukraine amid heightened Western warnings of a potential Russian invasion.

The pro-Ukrainian demonstrators armed with large Ukrainian, Polish and Crimean Tartar flags gathered in the Polish capital’s Old Town under the protest banners of “Together, let’s say, We are with Ukraine,” and “We do not agree to war.”

The event was organised by civic organisations including the Citizens’ Committee of Solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian House in Warsaw, run by the Our Choice Foundation.
