Poland: Soldiers prepare border for state of emergency amid Belarus migrant crisis

Military personnel and government workers increased security at the Usnarz Gorny border cross with Belarus on Wednesday, as the Polish government plans to introduce a state of emergency to stop the influx of migrants.
A significant presence of military and police officers could be seen on site, with officers stretching the barbed wire along the Polish side of the border. Additional military tents and trucks were deployed near the construction site.
The Polish border has seen thousands of Middle Eastern migrants illegally entering Europe from Belarus in recent months.
