Protesters gathered in Prague and Bratislava to demonstrate against their respective governments’ COVID measures.

Hundreds of people gathered in Prague’s Old Town Square to rally against the lockdown policy imposed on unvaccinated people, banning them from using public spaces.

Hundreds of people rallied outside the Slovak Parliament building in Bratislava, on the anniversary of the Velvet Revolution in former Czechoslovakia.

The demonstration concluded with a march against the COVID restrictions established by the government of actual Prime Minister Eduard Heger.

As the fourth wave is washing over Europe, hospitals are filling up fast.

The WHO has reported that Europe is currently the only region in the world where COVID deaths increased in the last week.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the situation ‘is dramatic’.
