Russia: Firefighters tackle blaze near settlements in Samara region

Firefighters put forest fires in the Samara region under control, as the local Emergency Situations Department reported on Wednesday.

Footage filmed on Tuesday shows the areas engulfed in flames, as well as smoke over the railway and settlements.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fires destroyed about 850 hectares in Buzuluksky Bor and 586 hectares in the Neftegorsk forestry area.
