Russia: Former student of Orthodox school "self-detonates" outside monastery

Several students of a local Orthodox school were left injured after a suspect blew himself up with a homemade device in the city of Serpukhov, in the Moscow region, on Monday.

The Russian Interior Ministry confirmed that an 18-year-old, and a former student of an Orthodox school, was behind the explosion.

Conflicting reports suggest between 2 and 7 people were injured. No official information has been released so far.
