Relatives of the deadly oil tanker explosion victims gathered at Freetown’s Connaught Mortuary on Sunday to identify the bodies of people killed in the incident.
The mortuary’s medical staff confirmed that the corpses were displayed for identification in 48 hours after discovery.
On Friday, an oil tanker explosion in Freetown killed at least 99 people and seriously injured over one hundred residents.
The blast occurred after a bus struck the tanker in Wellington, an eastern suburb of Freetown.
