Spain: Drone footage captures scenery affected by Ebro flooding in Zaragoza Province

A surge in water levels in the river Ebro affected the city of Zaragoza and the neighbouring areas of Juslibol and El Burgo de Ebro on Wednesday.
In a statement made in Pradilla on Tuesday, Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that a “catastrophe zone” status would be declared on Friday for flooded areas.
Water levels have been increasing in the river since Sunday as a result of heavy rain and melting snow, with flooding affecting a large number of towns located along the river’s flow.
The flooding has claimed at least two lives in Spain to date.
