Spain: La Palma volcano continues spewing lava into night

Volcanic activity continued on the Spanish Canary island of La Palma on Tuesday evening.
Scientists have been closely monitoring the volcano since it erupted on September 19th for the first time in 50 years. Since then, the lava has ravaged more than 850 hectares and destroyed more than 2,200 buildings, in addition to triggering the evacuation of more than 7,000 people.
