Spain: Puppy freed by Guardia Civil after becoming trapped in pipe

Members of the Guardia Civil’s Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group (GREIM) rescued “Vella”, a German Shepherd puppy, who was trapped in a garden pipe of a house in the town of El Barco de Avila on Monday.

Rescuers were forced to drill into the wall in order to free the puppy.

Upon release, the owner hugged the disoriented but otherwise perfectly healthy German shepherd pup and posed with her and the rest of their family in the garden.
