Thousands of protesters clashed with security forces in Khartoum on Monday in rallies against the country’s military rule, which led to at least two protesters killed in the capital and one in the city of Wad Madani, according to local sources.
Footage shows protesters gathering in the streets to march to the presidential palace before clashing with security forces who dispersed protesters using tear gas, a water cannon spraying red-coloured liquid, and stun grenades.
The death toll has risen to 76, according to local medics, since the military began cracking down on anti-coup protesters.
