Helicopters were dispatched in firefighting operations in Marmaris on Saturday as efforts to extinguish forest fires close to the resort city continued.

Multiple firefighting helicopters filled their buckets with bay water as locals and tourists alike watched from the resort city beaches.

Two children have been accused of starting the deadly Marmaris fire, allegedly having started the fire while burning some books.
