Turkey: Russian warships spotted traversing Bosphorus towards Black Sea

A trio of Russian warships were captured sailing across the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul en-route to the Black Sea on Wednesday evening.

The Pyotr Morgunov, the Georgy Pobedonosets and the Olenegorsky Gornyak joined three more vessels sailing to the area from the Mediterranean for naval drills, according to the Russian Defence Ministry.

On Wednesday, the ministry stated that the action was part of a pre-planned movement of military supplies.
