UK: Thousands of 'Kill the Bill' protesters march through Bristol

Thousands of protesters from the “Kill the Bill” movement as well as Youth Climate Action rallied on Saturday in Bristol.

“We are at a protest, but I think it is our basic right, and I wanted to be available when I need to, so I was coming to defend that right like to be able to say yes or be able to say no, that’s it, basic stuff,” shared one of the protesters.

Police detained some of the protesters during the march, which resulted in traffic gridlock.

The two bills in question being protested, the original PCSC Bill on policing and the Nationality and Borders Bill are currently under debate in the House of Lords.
