Hundreds rallied against Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s administration at the Independence Square in Kiev on Wednesday.

Dissatisfied citizens came with flags of nationalist parties demanding the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak dismissal, the re-election in Verkhovna Rada, and the president Vladimir Zelensky’s resignation.

According to media reports, one of the rally hosts declared that Zelenskyy’s actions were regarded as trampling on the constitution and surrendering to the country’s interests.

In connection with the protest action, law enforcers went on heightened alert, the press service of the agency said.

Afterwards, the protesters headed to the Office of the President. During the procession, the demonstrators laid flowers to those killed on Maidan and held a minute of silence.
