Footage filmed on Saturday in the town of Lashkar Gah in Helmand Province shows the inside a former ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) base now under Taliban control.
Weapons, armoured vehicles and other equipment previously used by the NATO forces inside the base can still be seen.
Thousands of people have tried to flee Afghanistan since August 15 when Kabul fell to the Taliban, as Afghans fear reprisals and a return to authoritarian rule.
Kabul’s airport has seen days of chaos with people desperately trying to get inside the airport through Taliban checkpoints and board one of the Western evacuation flights.
