‘Fake Vaccine Scandal: China Arrests Criminal Ring Distributing Fake Coronavirus Vaccines’

Chinese police have arrested more than 80 suspected members of a criminal gang that was manufacturing and selling fake COVID-19 vaccines.

Authorities seized more than 3,000 doses of the fake jabs which were made of a simple saline solution.

According to state media, the group had been active since September 2020 and were distributing the vaccines within China - where the coronavirus pandemic began - and to other countries, although it was unclear which ones.
