Amid a spike in COVID patients and overburdened hospitals, the German army began “Operation Kleeblatt” on Friday whereby COVID patients from the south and east of Germany are flown to clinics with less frequent use in the north and west.
A MedEvac Airbus from the Federal Air Force was set to transport six seriously ill people from Memmingen to Munster/Osnabruck Airport. The patients are then to be brought to clinics in Munsterland.
