Germany: Death toll rises to 2 after explosion at Leverkusen industrial park

Fire engines could be seen working at the site to extinguish the blaze, after a blast occurred early on Tuesday morning, rocking the city and sending a pall of smoke into the sky.
The cause of explosion at the waste incineration site is still under investigation. Authorities have warned locals to remain in doors and to be vigiliant for toxic fallout as it is not yet known if the smoke contained toxins.
At least 31 people were injured in the explosion, some seriously, while several remain missing.
