Green Party heads presented the ‘traffic light’ coalition agreement, announced the day prior, to its members and ministers in Berlin on Thursday.

The three party coalition, comprised of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), the Free Democratic Party (FDP), and the Green Party will replace Angela Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) following 16 years in power.

It is hoped that a new government will be formed early next month.
