Columbus Police have released bodycam footage showing a fatal police shooting of a black man.

27-year-old Miles Jackson was taken to hospital after being found unconscious in his car.

When officers searched him, they reportedly found a gun concealed in his waistband.

After a struggle where Jackson is Tasered, he apparently fires the weapon.

A stand-off ensues for several minutes, with officers asking Jackson to raise his hands.

Police use a stun gun for a second time before unleashing a hail of live rounds.

ER staff tried to revive Jackson, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No officers or hospital staff were injured during the incident, officials said.

Officers were reportedly first called because Jackson had outstanding warrants.
