The Israeli army clashes with Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya villagers south of Nablus, during a rally organized by residents to protest against alleged assaults by settlers.

A group of Israeli settlers were seen dancing in rings and singing, as Israeli soldiers fired tear gas at the protestors.

A Palestinian man was also arrested after clashing with an Israeli Army soldier.

The clashes come following a rally organized by the villagers to protest against the practices of settlers and Israeli forces against high school students in the village. According to local reports, the students of the Al-Lubban High School, located three kilometres (1.9 miles) from the village – are subject to harassment by soldiers and settlers daily.
