State of Palestine: Three Palestinians killed after Israeli forces open fire at car in Nablus

Mourners carried body bags to Rafidia Surgical Hospital in Nablus on Tuesday after Israeli security forces opened fire at a car in the occupied West Bank city, killing three Palestinians. The slain had been accused by the Israeli forces of carrying out a series of recent shooting attacks.
Mourners could be seen chanting while carrying a body bag of one of the men killed in the Israeli operation in the northern Palestinian city. At the scene of the shooting, the mens’ car was riddled with bullet holes and its interior covered in blood.

Israel’s Shin Bet internal security agency had initially said the deceased - identified as Ashraf al-Mubaslat, Adham Mabrouk and Mohammed al-Dakhil - were killed during a “clash”. However, police later said the men, alleged to have had two assault rifles, did not fire their weapons.
“During the arrest, they tried to open fire and were neutralized,” the police said.
Photos of the three men had been posted online allegedly showing the men with assault rifles, with one wearing Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade headband. The Palestinian Authority has condemned the shooting and are demanding an international investigation.
