State of Palestine: Two Palestinians injured as IDF soldiers and protesters clash in Hebron

Two Palestinian men were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens were affected by tear gas fired by members of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in the centre of Hebron city on Friday.

The incidents transpired during clashes that erupted between both sides. The two men, one shot in the arm and the other in the foot, were taken to hospital for treatment. Those affected by the tear gas received medical care on-site reportedly.

Friday’s protests come in solidarity with the detainees in Israeli prisons and the Palestinian prisoner, Nasser Abu Hamid, who has been on hunger strike for over 120 days.
