Thousands gathered once again on the streets of Khartoum on Tuesday to protest the current military rule and the agreement reached between the military and the civilian government.
Security forces fired tear gas at demonstrators as they rallied near the presidential palace.
The agreement struck last week saw former Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok reinstated as PM - after being ousted in a coup in October - to share the power with the military.
According to the deal, Hamdok will share the government with the military during a political transition that could last until 2023.
