Turkey: Russian submarine crosses Dardanelles for military exercises in Black Sea

A submarine of the Russian Naval Fleet has passed the Dardanelles Strait on Saturday, on the way to practice manoeuvres in the Black Sea.

The submarine, accompanied by two Turkish coast guard boats, was seen heading towards the Black Sea on the surface of the water.

Local media identified the submarine as a B-237 Rostov-on-Don of the Improved Kilo class. Due to increasing exercise manoeuvres, six Russian warships were spotted passing to the Black Sea.
