Ukraine: Foreign nationals join Kiev 'International Unity March' amid Russia tensions

Dozens of foreign citizens participated in International Unity March for Ukraine in order to support country in the light of boiling tensions with Russia.

Footage filmed in Kiev on Sunday shows people marching in the centre of Ukrainian capital holding flags of Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Canada, Norway, USA, Hungary, Ukraine and the EU.

March started near monument to writer Taras Shevchenko and ended at Maidan Nezalezhnosti where the Ukrainian anthem was performed.

Earlier on Saturday patriotic ‘Unity March’ was held in Kharkiv. According to media reports, about two thousand people took part in the event.
