The United Nations and several non-governmental organisations have contributed during the last years in supporting thousands of people in Afghanistan and millions of displaced Afghans, as footage released by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Tuesday shows.
The footage, recorded in various locations across Afghanistan, shows some of the assistance the UN provided to refugees affected by the ongoing conflict in the country.
According to the UN, together with other NGOs, the organisation delivers humanitarian relief to at least 22 million people in Afghanistan and supports 5.7 million displaced Afghanis in five neighbouring countries.
